Miscellaneous Events

7/19 All Tennis Teams Photo (The photo will take place in the morning and it would be wonderful if all the members of the tennis team join for the photo in their uniform.)

7/19 Mini-Racquet Tennis Tournament 10:30am – 12:30pm. The club will provide you with mini-racquets, red tennis balls, and short courts to compete in the first ever Aqua Club Mini-Racquet Tennis Tournament.

7/31 Wednesday All Team Banquet at Aqua Club 6:00p-7:30p

Skills Needed For Tennis Team

Tennis Team (Ages 13-18) Team will focus on improving tennis skills, mental aspects of the game and strategy for both singles and doubles. We will get to compete against other clubs this year. The coaches will make sure that athletes will play only opponents of a similar skill level at league matches. Players on a tennis team must be able to return a ball from the baseline, serve from the baseline, and keep score.

  • One Time Sign Up $150(M)/$230(NM)

  • AM 8:15a-9:45a Tuesday and Thursday (No make up days)

  • PM 12:00p -1:30p Tuesday and Thursday (No make up days)

  • Please commit to either AM or PM

Tennis Team/Pre-Tennis Team (Ages 9-12) Team will focus on improving tennis skills, mental aspects of the game and strategy for both singles and doubles. We will get to compete against other clubs again this year. The coaches will make sure that athletes will play only opponents of a similar skill level at league matches. The pre-tennis team is open to advanced beginners who have a desire to gain the skills to play matches. Advanced beginners should be able to rally a yellow ball from the baseline at least two shots in a row.  If athletes can serve from close to the baseline and keep score, then they can play in league matches if they desire.

  • Tennis Team/Pre-Tennis Team (9-12) One Time Sign Up $135(M)/$205(NM)

  • 9:45a-11:00a Monday and Wednesday (No make-up days.)

  • 10:45a-12:00p Tuesday and Thursday (No make-up days.) This team will happen only if 9:45a-11:00a is full.
